DESCRIPTION: The myth that cajun food is "too hot" is dispelled here! The food is individually prepared and the establishment encourages folks to opt for no onions, bell peppers, etc. So, should you have an adversion to garlic or whathave you-don't be afraid to mention it! Made to order from meek and mild, to jacked up! The frog legs are to die for! If the name Prudhomme sounds familiar, yes-same family. David Prudhomme and wife Sharon are the niece and nephew of Chef Paul, and do a bang up job of keeping the family tradition of great, "real" food alive in Lancaster Cnty., Pa.

DESCRIPTION: This food is absolutely scrumptious - to die for! Well worth the short drive from Lancaster.... We honestly think this is some of the best food we've ever had - better than any Cajun we had when living down South. Give it a try - you'll be back!

DESCRIPTION: My first visit to Prudhomme's was very enjoyable. The service was very friendly and all our needs were quickly attended to. The food was excellent. The variety and quantity of menu selections was a pleasant surprise. Every palate should come away stisfied. We plan on visiting again & again.

DESCRIPTION: We had a fun time. It was very creative cooking with a very helpful staff! They even brought over Mr. Prudhomme to answer any questions we had. We had a relaxing, enjoyable meal and we even had leftovers.

MMM.... MMM.... GOOD!
DESCRIPTION: A wonderful dining experience. The food has some heat, but certainly not too much, so don't be afraid. If you need more heat, there are plenty of hot sauces on the table. The jambalaya was thick with tons of meat. The seafood gumbo was spiced well, having many different flavors. The fried crawfish are tender and have a wonderful vinegar flavor and get even better after dipping them in the sauce! The hush puppies are sweet and fried to perfection. We saved these for dessert. Quantities are more than enough as we needed a doggie bag. The place itself is filled with pictures of famous visitors as well as many antiques. A very warm casual atmosphere. Check it out!

Excellent Dinner
DESCRIPTION: My wife and I enjoyed dinner Saturday (9/6/03) night. Food and service are excellent. Food is prepared with enough spice to give it zing without overpowering it. Had a nice chat with Shaorn as we left.

Down On The Bayou!!!!!!!
DESCRIPTION: Hey y'all it's me, Sheila!!! Out in Bayou Land....how are things going...well it's been about a year since we been there, but ummmmmm...can still taste the true Cajun cookin'...thought that I was back home...Just have to add that everything David knows about cooking, guess where he learned it...well not true, it's in his blood...Cajun ...like no other.... C'est si bon!....

Yummy lunch
DESCRIPTION: We have been hearing about this place for years & finally got a chance to try it. We were not disappointed! I mentioned that I had never tried alligator so the server brought me a sample before we ordered. Our meals were delicious...not really hot, but spicy enough to leave a satisfying after taste. The dining room is small with a cozy homey feeling. We will be back.

DESCRIPTION: OOOOOWWWEEEEE now thats good yeah! This place is so great I scraped my plate! I brought my mom in for the monthly "Frank Sinatra" night. Actor entertainers strut their stuff and the 12.95 senior all inclusive package is a steal! Mom had a dance with "Frank" and I with "Doris Day". I can't wait to go back! Thank you all for a fun night!

DESCRIPTION: I only come here because it is close to home, they lose all the good bartenders and wait staff. Lauren, Karen, Lacy, Tom, and Kristie rocked. If this bar wasn't so close to home I wouldn't be coming. Chucky b's has definately lost alot of their business because of their horrible turnover.
