Very Disappointed
DESCRIPTION: I chose this restaurant because they had a coupon for a free dinner. 4 of us went and ordered. Altogether we had 11 cups of coffee. The coupon stated you must purchase beverages. When the bill came it said 11 coffees at 1.50 each. Believe it or not it was 16.50 just for the coffee. the food was good but we will not be going back for that reason. I have never been to a place that charges you for every cup of coffee. I believe it was done to cover for the money off coupon.

Pretty Good Pizza

DESCRIPTION: The King George II Inn has an ideal location, beautiful rooms and a wonderful woody bar with piano. Nice place to wait for your table to be ready or to enjoy a glass of wine. A decent wine list, good food, competent service, though for some reason there always seems to be kitchen noises in the upstairs dining room. Downstairs rooms are nicer but can be smokey.

Very Good Food
DESCRIPTION: I've been several times to King George in Historical Bristol. It's a little pricey, but due to the location - a view of the Delaware - and the ambiance of the restaurant, it's well worth the visit. The wait staff is always pleasant and the food is very authentic. The view of the Delaware from your table just can't be beat!

Great Pre-Theatre Dining
DESCRIPTION: Great location for dinner before catching a show at the Bristol Riverside Theatre. Have tried the others in town and the King George is, without question, deservedly the best. Kudos!

Can't Ask for Better
DESCRIPTION: The food and service is second to none. I'll be moving away, but will make sure I find the chance to come back and visit. Service is one of the best I know, and I recommend this place to all my friends. (But why did they take the Tirimisu off the dessert menu?)

A Visit to Bristol...
DESCRIPTION: ...is not complete without a stop at the "King." My wife and I, along with college classmates (Mr. and Mrs. C. Kane) have been stopping in for lunch or dinner after theater for 5 years or more. The food and tone of the place is perfect. Elegance and hometown. A skilled friendly staff.

Amazing Food. Great Live Music
DESCRIPTION: The food was amazing. I had scallops that were incredible, and huge. The pianist was outstanding. He wasn't even the regular. he said he was subbing for somebody? Could play just about anything we asked for, and we weren't asking for showtunes. I mean obscure stuff. Journey, Led Zepellin, Police - on the piano. Find out when the substittute pianist is on and check it out.

Don't Go Single
DESCRIPTION: 12/22/04, sat in the tavern and was promptly ignored, Ok...I ordered my own beer. No bar menus on the tables in the tavern, More then one waitperson walked right by me to serve those that arrived after me. Singles are invisible? Finally my food order was taken. I waited...and waited...and saw others (couples and groups) get served post haste! I live very close to this establishment. I would love to go there more if it were more accomodating towards single folks. But in 3 yrs I don't see any improvement in this area. Being a non-smoker I always find taverns and bars that totally oblivious to the non-smokers that would like to enjoy a drink and not be overcome with second-hand smoke. I had to leave. The smoke was bad in the tavern.
