DESCRIPTION: The food is generally always good at this Dairy Queen, although they have a tendancy to get your order wrong. Last week I ordered a vanilla milk-shake at the drive-thru and requested that they make it fairly thin. When I got my shake, I couldn't suck it through the straw. There was basically no milk in my milk-shake. I went home and added quite a bit of milk to make it so that I could drink it. The service never fails to be atrocious. There is rarely an adult working in the restaurant, and teenagers don't have the customer service or managerial experience to handle running a business. I recently waited at the drive-thru for six minutes, backing up twice and driving over the bell, and finally parked and went in. Three teenage employees were sitting on the counter socializing. the restaurant on the whole is not particulary clean, and could use serious updating. If Maple Plain had other options, I would choose to eat elsewhere.

Whatever Happened?
DESCRIPTION: Whatever happened to their old menu? I used to quite like their double bacon cheeseburger. Why did they go and change it by adding the lettuce and other crap. I forgave the terrible service and long wait because I liked the food. Now I don't even bother going there anymore.

Come for the food, not for the service
DESCRIPTION: The food is great. It's nothing fancy, and it does not need to be. They make their bread fresh and their soups from scratch. However, the service can...stink. I've never had a server that was attentive. It's too bad. Because (as I've said) their food is great.

Snowmobile Accessable
DESCRIPTION: This restaurant is snowmobile accessible. It's just a hundred feet or so from the Luce Line state trail. This restaurant is known to be a great local place to eat, but I confess that I always get the hamburger here because it is without a doubt the best hamburger I have ever had anyplace, anytime. I just can't get past that to order something else on the menu.

Nothin Special
DESCRIPTION: Just your local drive by bar and grill. Food is average. Service is so so. Price of food is high for a drive by place. There are better places to spend your money down the road.

Wow
DESCRIPTION: I was heading out St. Cloud one afternoon and I stopped at the Keg N Cork. I had never been there before and I thought it was going to be just another greasy spoon - but the place ended up being really great. The food was kick-ass and the place just had a taken-care-of feel to it. Someone there told me it keeps getting better because of a change of owners. I definately have been back since.
