Just Keep Driving..and Don't Look Back
DESCRIPTION: Had the fajitas. The absolute WORST I have ever had. Marinated chicken was very tender but bland. They do not offer peppers with the fajitas. Just two large rings of onion that you have to cut up yourself. They charge extra for the cheese & sour cream. Absolutely tasteless and extremely overpriced. Came with some sort of bean soup that tasted like it came straight out of Campbell's soup can.

My Favorite Mexican
DESCRIPTION: Yuuuuum! I used to live within a long walk and now drive over an hour just to enjoy the Plato Gordo (sp?). The Fajitas are my favorite ever. A cross between Mexican and American. Long strips of chicken or steak, individually grilled, with a pleasing smoky flavor.

Delicious
DESCRIPTION: Everything is made right there in the restaurant. The BEST tamales I've ever had. The Queso Flameado is absolutely fantastic. The chips and salsa are free flowing and wonderful. Most of the items have a mesquite flavor. The entrees can be pricey but definitely worth trying.

That best!
DESCRIPTION: This is absolutely the best commercial Mexican restaurant that I've ever had. It's almost as good as an authentic Mexican restaurant. The salsa and chips are to die for!

Good Tex-Mex Cuisine
DESCRIPTION: Been there several times, the service has always been excellent. The food is the closest I've found to real Tex-Mex since leaving Texas 17 years ago(that and the weather is all I miss). If you're interested in an EXCELLENT Margarita try the Julio's Gold! It is a bit on the pricey side, but the plates are big and FULL!! The chips are excellent although the salsa could use some spice for my taste.

It's really not Mexican!
DESCRIPTION: If you are looking for an authentic Mexican dish you will not find it at Uncle Julio's. They do serve big portions and their food is good, not the best Mexican food, but good. The Swirl (margarita & sangria) is the best and their cajeta ice cream is great!

It is, what it is!
DESCRIPTION: If you are looking for a high quality Tex Mex restaurant - this is the spot. It is a dressed up version of Chevy's. Solid fajitas - even without the green peppers another reviewer felt were lacking.

Salsa & Chips
DESCRIPTION: Used to have the best salsa & chips. Due to the hurricanes they switched the salsa and it now tastes awful. Our entire group sat down & decided to leave as it was just not the same. If you are trying for the 1st time - wait until they bring back the original salsa.

The Best I Have Ever Had
DESCRIPTION: The food is splendid the service is wonderful. My server Gregorio only added to the dining experience, I would say this is about as good as it gets to grandma's I'm Latino and am proud to recommend Uncle Julio's. The only fault that I can not stand is that you can not place a order over the phone. You have to be there in person to order defeats the purpose of carry out!

Good, But........
DESCRIPTION: We were a group of 6 adults and 4 young children in the restaurant on Saturday evening. We ordered our food and the waiter asked if we wanted the sour cream and /or the guacamale. I think we all agreed that we did. Little did we know that they were not included with the entree and were quite surprised to find additional separate charges for each. We adults each had a margarita and found the bill of $190 outrageous! You may not see us again. Margaret
