I love this place!
DESCRIPTION: I have had the pleasure of eating at Eleni's Uptown on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed. Greek food at its best. Eleni herself is a friendly hostess who often leaves the kitchen to greet her guests. For after-theater treats, try the blueberry-tini (martini) and a basket of sweet potato fries.

Is change a good thing?
DESCRIPTION: I used to frequent the Diner often, but I do so less often since it changed hands. The good things are that it's cleaner, more open, brighter... The menu has changed, and whether that's a good thing depends on your food tastes. They still serve a good, ample breakfast - but they don't serve it all day. Many of their lunch items say "no substitutions." So people with food allergies are stuck. You can order something else on the side (paying extra) but not substitute. And they stopped serving dinner. The food is basic American cafe, but it tasty and very affordable. In general, the service is decent, although there is one waitress who can be pushy and rude and a reason I don't go there more often.
