DESCRIPTION: Tullio's is without a doubt the best Italian Restaurant in Walnut Creek, if not the East Bay Area. The food is typical of the usual family type Italian restaurant's found all across the country. What I mean is, this is the type of Italian restaurant that families go to again and again, for decades. When I lived back east, my family and I went to the same Italian restaurant for 25 years, so I practically grew up there. The reason this type of restaurant thrives, and gets repeat customers is twofold: great food and resonable prices. Tullio's has some fantastic dishes for all types of tastes. I dare anybody to find a better Chicken Marsala. This chicken dish is to die for. I usually order a dish called Mare Bosco, which sounds strange, but it sure works. It's fettucini with sliced chicken and shrimp (big shrimp at that) in a spicy tomato sauce, try it once, and you can't resist it. Try the fried ravioli's as your appetizer, you east coaster's know what I'm talking about, great appetizer. There are also the usual staples of Italian restaurants, all types of pastas in Tullio's marinara sauce, which are also very good.

Best Chicken Ceasar EVER!!
DESCRIPTION: I had the gnocchi and wasn't too impressed, but I've had the chicken ceasar about a hundred times, and everytime it's better than the last! It's not a traditional ceasar salad, there's tons of chicken and grilled veggies... It's a total meal, and really, really good! I'm gonna pick one up for dinner tonight!

DESCRIPTION: Try Tullio's and you'll go back every time. Come early on Friday nights because they're usually packed. The Chicken or Shrimp Caesar Salad is great! Also good is the Tutto Mare - fettuccini with chicken and assorted seafood. Meals come with soup or salad and portions are huge! Servers are pleasant. They have become our family's restaurant.

Walnut Creek Treasure
DESCRIPTION: I started going to Tullio's with my family about a year ago. We are new to the bay area and had heard that it was a must go place in Walnut Creek. We went, and we basically go once a week now. Their angel hair chicken and veal parmesean are hand down to die for. Family run, you can tell the staff puts their heart into their work. My kids love the pizza (of course) and the spagetti with meat sauce. I have also had them cater a few events for me... the lasagna is always a hit...as is the spinach salad and caesar.

I dream of Tullio's
DESCRIPTION: The pizza crust is magic, my favorite is the Carbonara - pesto, garlic, tomatoes, no red sauce. The raviolis are home made and just the right blend of cheese and meat. All the sauces are great, and homemade Minestrones soup, too. Many families eat there more than once a week, there is a reason why - consistency, quality, affordable, very nice family owned business.

Sidewalk Filets & Praiseworthy Service
DESCRIPTION: When it first launched - Lark Creek Cafe was a bit stuffy. No more! The first-class establishment has learned this doesn't work in the down-to-Earth borders of trendy Walnut Creek - so they've changed. I am a very picky diner. In fact, we had just walked out on another Walnut Creek establishment whose hostess couldn't get things right - and we ambled over to Lark Creek Cafe on a whim. In the range of $100 later - wine included - we left with the feeling we had just had a very worthwhile experience. Our waitperson was warm and swift - backed up by her co-waiter. The two of them never missed a clue that service was needed. They also made us feel we were guests in "their" home. The chef gave an outstanding performance - with perfectly done filets and excellent presentation. I had abandoned this place in their stuffy days - but decided to give them this second chance (perhaps three years later). I'll go back now for a second helping. Try for the sidewalk dining area - if weather permits. You'll enjoy the style of it.

Great Sushi, Friendly Environment
DESCRIPTION: Sushi is always fresh. Unique seasonings and sauces for sushi rolls is what make this place great. Pieces of fish are unusually large. The prices are very reasonable. If you are a regular, you are treated like royalty.

I love the sushis there
DESCRIPTION: I am a fan of sushi. I've been to most of the sushi places in the county. This one beats all of them with the quality, and the portions, and the prices are reasonable. One roll at Tokyo equals 2-3 rolls somewhere else. I really recommend it to anyone who likes good sushi.

DESCRIPTION: Very good food, authentic italian (not pasta), but seafood & meats well prepared. The only downside is the service can be a little slow, but it is to let patrons relax with company & enjoy!
