DESCRIPTION: Despite the hype & the view, this is a dump! The couple next to me sent their food back. I should have too. My kebab was overdone, and horrible. The desserts were old and dry.

Bad greasy food-The Greek at The Harbor
DESCRIPTION: We took our out of town relatives to the Greek at the Harbor because we had heard it was a pretty good restaurant. We are very good judges of Greek, Mediterranian and Turkish food and we know how the dishes have to be prepared and taste! The food was very greasy, nor refined at all and not appealing to the eye. We were dissatisfied with everything we ordered (including the gyro kids meal). What a waste of time and money. We went there just before 4 pm hoping to get a late lunch. We ended up paying dinner prices for a less than acceptable meal. I can't believe all the hype associated with the place. I guess the entertainment must be the reason for that. Unfortunately we were there too early for the evening entertainment.

Amazing biscuits
DESCRIPTION: Small, popular diner with a confused hostess the day we went--she seemed to have trouble organizing the seating leading to long waits. Table service was efficient once you sat down. We tried the chorizo and eggs and the corned beef hash, and both were excellent. The corned beef hash was homemade, not the stuff out of the can. Plates were substantial and came with potatoes or fruit. Most breakfast orders also have a choice of either toast or biscuits. Choose the biscuits! They are freshly baked, fluffy, and come piping hot with a jar of homemade raspberry jam.

Best Breakfast in Ventura
DESCRIPTION: This place is the best breakfast place in ventura. The food is soooo good. You have to wait on weekends but it is worth it. Staff is very friendly and ambiance is good.

DESCRIPTION: Pad Thai and Tom Ka Gai soup! Eat well and drink a good Thai beer. Next door is a co-owned Sushi place if you want fresh Sushi to supplement your Peruvian and Thai experience.
